HOW IT WAS BROUGHT TO LIFE
How in the world did these guys come up with this amazing idea!? Breakout Escape Rooms is an escape game company owned and operated by entrepreneeurs Jeff Ciuzicki and Dan Shutz. Their journey began humbly, one day, Dan's office manager Jeff from his telecommunications
business played one of the original vanilla escape games in New York while on vacation. He shared the experience with the office staff and within minutes Dan jumped in and said 'Oh my gosh that sounds like a blast, we have to do this but make it a circus theme'. The very next day they built a plan and started working on it. That was us in 2014, Dan and Jeff, then Opened the first escape game in Michigan debuting the original game 'The Ringmaster's Den'.
Team Banquet
Use Breakout's party room like a banquet hall for conducting a team awards ceremony. The team can have food and drinks before playing a fun and exciting escape game.
Breakout's team banquet event is an opportunity for an athletic director to recognize their teams' accomplishments. The awards ceremony usually includes a number of different categories, such as MVP and best defensive player. These athletes are awarded at an evening banquet with food and drinks. After all the award winners have been announced, a Breakout-style escape game is led by the company's Game Hosts. If all of the Team members work together and find valuable information to solve puzzles, they will be likely to have another victory in the escape room. This event is a fun way for com
panies to inspire their athletes to work hard so that they can receive recognition at future banquets.
Many types of teams come to breakout for end-of-season celebrations including volleyball teams, football banquets, debate teams, and dance troupes. Athletes like to keep their minds and body busy and enjoy playing escape games with their friends and teammates. Coaches enjoy watching how their team functions as a group behind closed doors. This is a great way to recognize and encourage teamwork.
